Official Visit of the Azerbaijani Delegation to FC Barcelona

On 26 May 2019, an official visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to FC Barcelona took place.

The delegation included Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Anar Məhərrəmov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Spain, Juan Manuel Trayter, Member of the FC Barcelona Board of Directors, Javier Medina Ortiz, a renowned lawyer and close friend of the Azerbaijani community in Barcelona, and Karim Karimov, Chairman of ASB.

The guests were welcomed by Jordi Penas, Director of the FC Barcelona Museum, who provided detailed insights into the history of the club, its achievements, and its role in the international world of sport. The delegation also had the opportunity to tour Camp Nou, the largest stadium in Europe.

The event was of great importance for strengthening cultural and sporting ties between Azerbaijan and Catalonia.
