Visit to the High Court of Justice of Catalonia

An official meeting of the Azerbaijani Society in Barcelona (ASB) took place at the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (Tribunal Superior de Justícia de Catalunya, TSJC).

During the visit, Antonio Recio Córdova, President of the Provincial Court of Barcelona (Presidente de la Audiencia Provincial de Barcelona), and Xavier Medina Ortiz, lawyer and member of the Barcelona Bar Association (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona), personally introduced participants to the institution, explaining the court’s functions, work principles, and judicial processes.

It was noted that while citizens have the right to appeal to the Spanish Supreme Court or even the European Court of Justice, the High Court of Justice of Catalonia serves as the highest appellate court within Catalonia.
